Attorney Donald L Bell was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. After graduating from high school with honors, he wanted to serve his country and joined the United States Marine Corps. The Marine Corps instilled the three key principles of Honor, Courage and Commitment which he uses everyday in his bankruptcy law practice. After serving his country honorably for six years with the U.S. Marines, he immediately went to work as a Deputy Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. This led to an interest in Bankruptcy and his attendance at the University Of Maryland, Baltimore School of Law. He graduated in 2003 and has been serving bankruptcy clients in private practice since 2005.
Donald Bell was admitted to the practice of law before the Court of Appeals, in Maryland; before the Federal District Court of Maryland; and the Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Court.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Maryland Federal Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Maryland Consumer Bankruptcy Bar Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, the Prince Georges County Bar Association, Howard County Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association and J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
